busted ipod

Hi just wondering if someone could help me? My ipod will not upload songs anymore. It charges and the 'Do not disconnect' sign come up when i plug in but none of the new stuff on my mac loads on. I posted about this last week but got no replies. Hopefully Someone can help. Ken. :headphone
