I have a superdrive Emac running OS X 10.2.8 and I want to burn movies onto DVDs so that they will play in my DVD player that's connected to my TV. I've tried doing it through IDVD, like Apple suggests, but it won't reconigize any of my movie formats. They're either DivXs .avi or .mpg. I tried doing it through IMovie but that was a failure too. I just managed to completely burn one using Toast 5.1, but although I burnt it as a DVD, it just shows up as data. I'm using Memorex DVD-Rs, so I don't think the actual DVDs are a problem. Any suggestions? It would be great if somebody knew a program where I could just drag the file into the program and it would burn it w/o me having to convert .avi to this then that, etc ..... But at this point, I'm desperate. My parents are expecting me to bring home all 50 of the blank DVD's they bought me next week- chock full of movies they haven't seen yet :flower:
