Brother DCP-130c is On Hold (Authentication Required)

I used to be able to print through this printer, which is connected to a Win XP Home machine downstairs. The desktop is connected via the Ethernet port to the O2 Wireless Router. My Macbook connects wirelessly.

The problem I have is that under the printer list I get the message On Hold (Authentication Required). I used to be able to print via the mac before I reinstalled XP, and as far as I know I the current set-up is the same as the old. The win xp machine used Comodo Firewall and AVG 8 anti-virus.

(PS. I have checked the networking printers FAQ and the printer is not supported by Gutenprint.)

Hey guys... never mind. I sorted the problem by rechecking the XP computer and turning off Windows Firewall (which was running without my knowledge) and then reinstalling the network printer on the macbook.

Hey presto! It works.
