I wouldn't go for that price. Too good to be true=good chance of being scammed. If this is out of the country it probably is. I should know, I've been scammed for an Apple laptop before.

Well, I can say that if I had that kind of money.....I would be all over it. I can only dream though. I think I may be able to help out your sale though, perhaps.

It's always helpful if you sell your item, I'm sure you know this but let me elaborate.

Overgeneralizing on message boards is bad, people shy away. You say, Secure method of payment...It's not going to hurt anything to say what your method is. Do you accept paypal? Something else?

Do you have any references that can be verified as unbiased? I don't want to say you sound like a crook because you really don't but you're asking somebody for $1.9-2.1k which takes alot of saving, for any type of profession...so you just have to add in a few things to make people more comfortable.

Also, good luck on selling your items.....When I can stop dreaming...I'll see if you still have them :D

Last of all, if I didn't mention it enough...I'm not trying to drag down your sale. Just a couple questions that I'm sure other people are curious about.

This "seller" has been exploded as a fraud if he/ she is the very same person from powerbookcentral.com

The prices are too good to be true, and if the poster actually had references, they should be posted here.

If anyone is interested in purchasing I would be happy to present them with trade references. I am not going to post my customers info on forum boards for every joe to read. On another note you people seriously need to quite accusing everyone of being fraud. I post on these boards to establish business, I do not like to post trade references or give out info on these boards. If anyone is interested PM me and we can exchange contact info and do real business. My company deals in wholesale trade, and does orders of 50-100 a day. The prices you people are calling fraud is average if not high in the wholesale market. We do occasionally have units left over from larger orders and sell those off at great prices, for example the units that are posted on this board. Thank You.

Obviously you have never been scammed before. If you are such a big company that does wholesale, why is everything about you so secretive? How about the name of your company, your contact information, and your location? You also state that you use a secure method of payment. Which method of payment is it that you accept? People should not have to PM you for contact information. If you are a legit business, there should be at least an email address posted for everyone who has any questions for you. Your reaction to being on the defensive side points to the direction of a scam.

Hey man, come for your holls, bring yourself some extra bread. The exchange rate is really good right now, especially if your a British guy. That's $14 (HK dollars) for every £1 (UK Sterling), plus Hong Kong is a TAX FREE ZONE! Yes this means there's no SALES TAX!

If you know how to barter, then less than £1550 (dependant on the rate of exchange) could buy you a powerful 1.5GHz, 17" Powerbook with SuperDrive. Then all you have to do, is ship the machine yourself. Simple huh? And you get a holiday!

Is that from an Apple Store? Or just some random shop?
