I just figured I'd let you all know...today I went into the G5 lab instead of the G4 lab - and I decided to click on "about this mac" and I was greeted with what I thought was amazing.
Dual 1.8ghz processors
2 gigs of ram

I was very impressed with that - they've got like perhaps 12 of these?

NOW I know where my 22,000 tuitition went! :)

My school which is not a tech school by any standard has a media center with 10 2.5ghz G5, 4gb ram and the new 30 inch displays.

Each of the classrooms has a 2.8ghz p4 and a 2.2ghz g5 with 2gb ram hooked up to a 19" LCD using a KVM. I have yet to see a teacher use the class room computers but they are pretty nice

This must be a very expensive school! I mean, those are THE top-of-the-line computers! If those computers just had another 4 GB of RAM, then they would officially be the best possible computers that come from Apple. Neat, eh? But seriously, that's UNBELIEVABLE!! Are you yankin' our chains?
