So I attempted to use the bootcamp application to partition my drive and install Windows 8. Something went wrong and I am not concerned with putting Windows on anymore, I just want my computer to go back to normal. When I turn on my computer it stays on a white screen for a little while and then goes to a black screen that says "No bootable device -- Insert boot disk and press any key". The only way I can get on my computer is to hold the option key down while it starts and then click the Macintosh drive. Can anyone help me with this?

With the Mac running, go into BootCamp Assistant in Utilities and check if it is necessary to remove BootCamp. It will say if this is required. Use Assistant to remove the partition. Do not do this using Disk Utility!
