It's during boot camp. I got past the partition. I chose 32GB and then it gave me the option of which of the 4 to choose. I go to choose the bottom one specialized for boot camp but it doesn't actually allow me to select it.

What are you trying to install, XP or Vista? If Vista, you must format the partition to NTFS as Vista will only install to NTFS. Also, choosing to create a partition of 32 Gb and selecting FAT-32 may not work because the Boot Camp assistant over sizes the partition creation by a slight amount. That may result in a partition larger than 32 Gb.

Start over. Reboot to OS X, start the Boot Camp assistant, select create partition, select restore. The hard drive will be restored to OS X.

If you're installing Vista, use NTFS. Partition creation can be larger than 32 Gb. If XP, you can use NTFS or FAT-32. However, if you use FAT-32 keep the partition creation to less than 32 Gb.

Regards.

Vista.

I just switched over to MAC so I have no clue what that means. Anything I can read up on to help me out? I don't know necessarily how to 'format' it.
