Message: <blockquote data-quote="particle_hunter" data-source="post: 348907" data-attributes="member: 24073"><p>When I finally took the plunge into macs, I went ahead and bought a black macbook, mainly to stand out from everyone else that had a mac.  I think the black looks cool and have gotten lots of compliments.  My macbook does show finger prints, but it is also easy to clean (I've bought a cleaner from Office Depot and it works great).  Personally, the matte finish doesn't bother me (I came from a world of HP computers), so I can't say one way or the other, but the finish certainly does not make it look less cool and the finger prints would probably show up just as well with a glossy finish as with a matte finish due to the black color.</p></blockquote><p></p>
