best yahoo messenger to use (version)

seems liek some versions cause havoc ! I use version 3 beta as thats what they advice
but cannot use a voice chat etc
tried adifferent version again a Beta? that was terrible..slow and no web cam


help !!

Havoc? I've never had problems with Yahoo. Though, Yahoo has never really had smooth webcam services. The framerate has always been pretty poor, but stable. Skype runs better, but I've noticed it drops out a lot, and generally has been pretty unreliable.

Currently, and as far as I know, there is no version of Yahoo that supports voice chat. Apparently the windows one does, but none for mac yet.

I don't know how there could be another beta version though. Could you list exactly which versions you've been using? Also, what speed internet connection are you using?
