Hi I am now considering a solid-state drive that will fit a 2010 MacBook Pro with about 120 GB. What are some of your likes and dislikes in SSD drives. Has anyone tried a Kingston? (For example) What are some other SSD drives I should be looking into that work well with the MacBook Pro. Especially ones that are a very good performance for value for money.AND absolutely an emphasis on reliability I have been doing some reading in some forums lately, and see people with awful problems with SSD drives Being unreliable which is a surprise to me . Are they more reliable than regular rotational hard drives? Everybody at Apple says so.

Thanks
Alex

Do nt know about 'best value'.

Used SSDs for five years and have found best for me have been OWC, Toshiba and OCZ Vertex in that order. Had disasters with Samsung, Hitachi, G. Skill Falcon and Kingston drives. In fairness all their replacement under warranty were good transactions.
