Best monitor for my new Mac Mini

Hello, all.

I've always been a Windows user. I just purchased a new Mac Mini (Late 2014) with Intel Iris 1536 MB. I have to say, I never knew what I was missing while using PC's. This thing operates great compared to what I am used to. I currently have this connected to an LG 24MT45 24 inch LED TV Monitor. My question is, for the Mac Mini, is there a certain few select monitors that work really good together with the Mac Mini?

Thanks.

Any monitor will work fine (except 4k, I doubt your system can drive one), it just depends what your needs are in terms of tasks and time. What I find important for long use is the quality of the display (resolution and pixel density), as well as automatic brightness adjustment. I find the Thunderbolt Display meets these requirements very well, although it is a little pricey.

Yeah, I'm not gonna bother with the Apple display. Their accesories are too overpriced in my opinion. Although, I did buy the tiny Apple wireless keyboard, and in my opinion, that was worth every penny. I can't believe how fast I can type on that thing.

I figure I can get a decent size monitor for a few hundred.
