Hi all.

I have accidentally bent (which also shattered both the front and back) of my iPhone. It has rendered it almost useless, although the screen does still respond. It won't allow me to turn on Bluetooth, cellular data or Wi-Fi. I am trying to reset it, but can't turn off Find My (which I have to do to claim for it through my insurance), as it requires some sort of data connection. Even trying to do it through iTunes is the same, with it asking me to disable that first before it'll continue.

I have logged into iCloud and found the device, but again, upon choosing 'Erase the device', it tells me it'll be erased once it's connected to the internet.

It's an 12 Pro max with iOS 17 installed.

Any ideas?

Do you have a Mac? You could connect the iPhone to the Mac with a usb/lightning cable and try to gain access that way.
