Help! When faced with a blinking question mark, have run Norton which couldn't fix it. The drive is unmounted and can't seem to mount it at all. Have tried Disk Warrior and Tech Tools Pro. Is there software that will enable the drive to mount?? I know it's old but it works and it's got data on it...

Normally when you get a blinking question mark, it means that the is no system to boot from. If it is OS 9 then the system folder is corrupted. If it is OS X, then it could be a corrupted system file.

Since I don't know what version of the OS you are running. Try booting from your installation media. If you are using OS 9, run disk setup to see if the disk is okay. If you are running OS X, use the disk utility to see if the disk is okay. because there is a possibility, that you may have loss your system disk. I hope you have current back ups of your environment.

Looks like you may have lost your system disk.
