Battery Charge Irregularities

Hey, I was wondering. The charger is green on my MBP but the operating system will only report a 96% charge, even when I restart. A little odd since I've only used it plugged into a power socket. I might try using it around the house and letting it discharge to see if there's any difference. It's a little odd though.

it doesnt charge after i think 94% if its unplugged before 100%.

or calibrate it.

basically run the battery down, let the computer sleep for 5 hours, and fully charge it.

its normal, theres nothing wrong with it. ODD, yes, but normal

i've been having the same problem. I usually take my mbp to class it usually lasts for the whole 3 hours, today it turned off on me before the usual time. half an hour before. i think ill do what u suggest kgeier and see what happens.

this makes no sense. i ran my battery down let my pc sleep for more than 5 hours, then recharged fully then opened it, now it says that my battery health is 92%, b4 i did that it was 95%. is there any thing that i can do? or should i just contact apple?

yea, try not to worry about it because it is not really a problem especially if your cycles are low.

my cycle count is 39, i got the laptop late march. is that ok? i usually take it to school everyday thats why its kind of hight.
