"this" pop-up? Where? What did it say? Did you close it? Did it re-appear? What browser? What site?

You have given us nothing to go on..

Sorry it"s called 'bannersdontwork' What happens is when i click the back arrow to go back to the previous page this appears serve/bannersdontwork and I end up with a blank page, something is running but nothing happens. I'm on Safari, Also I keep getting these adverts down one side of the screen advertising what ever I happen to be looking at, wheather it's Amazon, ebay, Clarks shoes or whatever, which Iv'e never had before. sorry i'm being so vague but i'm not really that hot on all the technical stuff. Thanks again Jim

Please look at this other post of mine and go through the procedures there and install the 3 extensions I mention in that post.

Then, the next time this happens, grab a screenshot by pressing CMD+Shift+4, let go and your cursor changes to a cross-hair, now hit space and it will become a camera icon. Move it over the Safari window and click. A screenshot will be saved to your desktop, upload that here and we can see for ourselves..
