Back-up using CD-RWs??

Is it possible to back up Mac OS X using CD-RWs and be able to boot off these CD-RWs if need be? Not practical but just curious if possible? If so how? Thanks.

no you cant. standard os wont fit on a CD, its too big. there was a special version that came with older macs without DVD drive. it vas split over several CDs. you can back it up on DVD though.
