Atlantic Bridge.

An elderly gent walking along the beach saw a small glass bottle and through complete frustration swung his boot at it. The bottle skidded off across the sand, hit a large boulder and smashed into lots of small pieces, there was a puff of green smoke and a geenie appeared. Looking at the old gent he said"I have been imprisoned in that bottle for five thousand years, for setting me free I give you one wish". The elderly gent thought for a while and said"All our family live in America and my wife will not fly whilst I will not sail. Build us a bridge across the Atlantic and we can go visiting them all in our motor home" The geenie though for a long time and said "Oh come on now be reasonable and think of something else'. The elderly gent thought for a very long time and said 'OK, tell me how my wife's mind works" almost immediately the geenie said "Would you be wanting street lighting all the way across the bridge???"

Hi, yes July 10 was my birthday and I have now logged up 85 of them! I must admit the years are starting to tell, what used to be a quick ten minute task now take all morning and then possibly dragging on into the afternoon! We come to a very large domestic snag here - I manage to wipe one off the top of the list and the Lady Boss adds two or more onto the bottom.

Thank you very much for the birthday wishes but Slydude, I am teetotal for medical reasons and not by choice. Still I do break the rules sometimes and indulge in a half pint of the "Black Stuff" Guiness.

I'm in a similar boat though never drank more than a handful in a year so when the doc says don't drink too much with one of the meds I take it was not a big switch to me. BTW If you're going to break the rules Guiness is a good reason.
