Received this Message today. Did a search on the phone number and it didn't show anything. I login into my iCloud/Apple account and it didn't show any charges. PS: I don't use Apple Pay.

No company such as Apple would ever use a phrase like "That looks like suspicious to us"!

Thanks! Reminds me that I have to double check my credit card to make sure the scam email I was sent was indeed fake!

Spam/Scam Phishing attempt, whatever you like to call it it's just another of the many attempts to gain access to your ID or accounts. If you are well exposed online due to business or social media obligations you can expect to get a couple of these bogus messages a day, I know we do.
Our policy is to ignore everything that does not come from a recognised source. If we get a second or third repeat and it appears that it "might" be genuine we check with the actual claimed to be source to verify.
It's getting so I don't even answer phone calls or texts from sources not in my contacts. If I get repeats I look up the number via Truecaller. If it seems kosher I ring them back.

Heck, I don’t even answer the phone if the number is not in my contacts. Leave me a message or the number gets blocked.

I don't tap on links in emails or on websites unless I KNOW where they go in advance. Even if I think the email is legit, and that I want to go there, I type in the URL manually. It's too easy to make false links to nefarious sites.
