AppleCare - can it be extended?

I bought my MacBook in May of 2007 with AppleCare which ends in May of this year. Is it possible to extend AppleCare or am I on my own after it expires? TIA.

Sadly no it is only good one term. Even if it was to cost more I wish it went for at least
4 years.

i've heard the rare time that applecare could be put on again
i think osxx is right one extended per unit, unless you wanna call Apple and ask them.

You can't extend your AppleCare, but anyway, the money you would spend on it, you would be better off putting together with the money you would make selling your MacBook, which would give you close to what you need for getting a new one.

6string is correct. Apple care can not be extended nor would you really want to considering if Apple allowed it, how much it would cost. $$$

I believe the Best Buy extended warranty (which goes on for three years) is about the longest warranty you can get for an Apple made computer. That by the way gives you four years.
