Hey friends - looking for advice.

My wife has had an Apple Watch SE for 1.5 years - no issues.

In the past several days, it has been shutting down randomly (yes with plenty of battery left).

if you put it on a charger, it turns on and is fine. Within minutes (sometimes longer), it just turns off.

I restarted it myself (it’s what The Google recommended) and that didn’t work.

The OS is up to date, it’s never been dropped or manhandled in any way. Perplexed as to what could be going on.

Any suggestions?

Are you sure the battery is okay? It sounds like the battery is going flat even though it may appear it's charged. Other than that, it may be a defect with the watch. Might be time to give Apple a call to see if they can offer a solution.

We don’t have a warranty on it beyond the manufacturers - my OG Apple Watch lasted 5yrs and I replaced it because it was slow, not broken.

Are there any apps that test Apple Watch batteries?

Thanks for that!
Her watch says that it is holding 91% of design capacity which is good.

Any other thoughts as to what could be happening?
