the apple store is down as they are adding updates, hmm. wonder what it could be,?

It would be great if it wasn't just for maintenance. But I did read a few days ago that Intel has revamped their latest chips so... And come to think of it, it IS Tuesday!

No they keep the Main page up as long as possible so that visitors still see it.

wish it was an iMac, dont think its anything Major as front page would be down aswell, could be new software, i.e. iLife 07'
