Just logged on to check out a few prices and the www.apple.com/uk site store is currently down for changes!

U.S. Store is down as well (6:56am EST).

Could just be regular maintenance & updates.

Man, it's been down for a long time. My spare MagSafe adapter (the one that originally came with my first MacBook Pro) just failed this morning. I was going to see about getting a replacement, but instead OWC got the sale!

They have a refurbished adapter for $39. For work (where I normally keep this one), that is fine for my purposes.

If there is an update to the product line then the " I cant believe Apple did this to me...i just bought a... " threads are about to begin!;D

But on a happy note , all the " when will it be ok to buy a...." threads will stop for a bit.

Not sure that it's something I need right now. I'm going to wait it out and see how or if the prices drop. $500 for a 16GB model is a bit steep IMO.

Speaking of "dang it!", I just realized I accidentally ordered a 60W adapter, instead of the 85W unit that I apparently need. UGH!! Trying to get on the horn with OWC now....

Ha ha ha. I for one am not disappointed. Means I just get to play the waiting game longer lol. Who knows, MAYBE they were prepping for a later release after they announce at MacWorld something. I don't know. Maybe their servers just crashed for the store. Who knows. Lets all make up random rumors.

I heard the MacStore got a virus and shut down.
