Just an update. My ISP (Zen - provider of my one POP3 email service) advises that there is not a problem with their server and if BlueMail cannot handle it then to find another mail client. BlueMail have not responded other than to say I should contact my ISP. If anyone on this site uses both BlueMail and Zen I've love to know who they got them working together. I'm actually happy with all my email providers which are used for distinct and separate purposes (two stage verification; to give to websites/ companies that insist on an email but which I do not want to communicate further; as a Facebook email (so I Iknow that any other 'Facebook' email on any other service is a scam); for work purposes, for my (separate) business, PayPal, etc. Not forgetting my Apple ID which is an email address I now longer use but cannot change so forced to keep. I do not wish to use any 'Smart' forwarding functionality as these do not work with any consistency... and don't get me started on Junk Mail filters which are just as inconsistent. I quite like Apple Mail but it's driving me mad not being able to get the Search function working. I managed to get it working last year following various advice from Apple/Google etc but it stopped after only a short while and just gives a 'No Mail Selected' message to every search. MS Outlook, suggested by Rod, is ruled out as it requires MacOS 14 or above and I can only get to 13.6 on my 2011 iMac.
