Apple Mail Problem

Hi

I have recently developed a pretty debilitating mail problem. It's also very strange.

I first noticed it when I couldn't send pictures.
But now it seems to not be able to send basic blank emails. However, although it doesn't show up as sent on my Macbook it does actually send (although pictures still don't want to send).

I have deleted the password in keychain access in utilities.

My smtp.me on the outgoing mail server says it is offline. Is this an issue?

I don't know what else to do?

I have mobile me and can send pictures directly by accessing the internet and sending through that but the mail app still remains a problem.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I am running in 10.7.1

Randomly I have fixed the problem by deleting the account completely from my Mac then reinstalling it.

Oh well!!!
