Sounds good like good news. The more companies getting involved and helping getting better understanding of standards for HTML is a good thing in my opinion as it could mean the makers of browsers like Safari, Firefox and IE could display HTML more similarly

I'm learning (X)HTML right now and this seems like something that would make my life a lot easier.

It's hard to remember all of the hacks to get stuff to look right in Exploda.

I never worry about making sites look okay in Internut Exploder. I try to stick to code that validates css, xhtml, and html, not code that renders properly in IE.
Remember, Microsofts tactic with standards is to "Embrace, Extended and Eradicate".
