I'm concerned about what this is going to do to innovation. I understand wanting a standard charger for all phones, blah, blah, but I think this stifles creativity and innovation. If you don't like the phone - don't buy it. Don't like the way Apple handles app distribution - go to Google Play. I don't think any country should be able to dictate how Apple creates their products, except for safety issues. What's your take Patrick?

I think I'll just pass on providing any such personal comments thanks rainbowcat as there are just too much politics and policies involved, especially in some of the countries.
Besides which, my opinion wouldn't mean or change anything anyway.

Regards, and keep safe and keep well.

Totally understand. I've had enough politics to last me several lifetimes!

Right or not, every country can impose the law they want.
"Law" doesn't mean is right though...
