Apple and Ultra Wide displays?

I am looking into purchasing an external monitor to use with my 2013 15" MacBookPro (2013 Retina - intel Iris Pro graphics), as well as my 2013 i7 macmini (intel HD 4000 graphics).
The ones I am interested in most are the Ultra Wide models offered by LG and DELL, both have 2560 x 1080 resolution.

Are my macs compatible with these monitors, will they take advantage of their full resolution?

Both of your computers can support an external display up to 2560x1600 resolution.
