It had 6 updates (Itune, Safari, some security update but no OS). After it finished, it rebooted and proceeded at installing all updates. Once done, it rebooted one last time and.. all I have is a black screen now :-(  It chimes as it boots and will even go in standby if left alone (pulsing yellow light). Keyboard capslock toggles also and will beep if an incorrect key is pressed. Seems to be working, beside the screen being now black. Any way I can recover from this ? Would hate to simply throw it away.Thanks.Edit: I no longer have a boot CD for this Mac.</blockquote>
