Hello,

I installed a copy of Aperture 3.0 on my MBP running Mac OS X 10.6.2 from a friend instead of downloading the trial from Apple website. I decided then to install the trial one but the previous user registration information keeps coming up not allowing me to use the trial serial number I got from Apple.

By mistake assuming I was installing the trial version of Aperture I completed the registration form and submitted to Apple :[ I don't know if this info contains the serial number from my friend but definitely don't want to get him or myself in trouble.

I deleted all plist files associated with Aperture but I cannot get the software to go through a fresh install and input the trial serial number

Any ideas on how to get Aperture to do a clean install and not show the previous registration information?

Thanks!

Hi Marc,

Move the following files on your desktop:
"ProAppsSystemID" and "ApertureID" located in the following folder:

Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/ProApps/

Try it again. If after that it works, you can delete the moved files from your desktop.
