Another problem, this time it's sound.

I'm really trying to enjoy joining the Mac side now, but I can't with these problems. First the display was lit unevenly, Apple store let me replace it.

Now this one has a problem. When I plug in external speakers, sound is very quiet yet I hear loud humming when I turn up the speakers. When I plug in headphones, it's quiet at the loudest setting. This was supposed to be hassle free, but I either have to tweak, or bring this MBP back again.

Only thing to check here, is that your volume is turned up.

Sys Pref > Volume

Other than that, looks like you have to go back to the store. If so, demand a new model. Who knows what else is wrong with the one you have.

Yeah, volume is up....

This will be my 3rd new one. I'm worried that I might have some screen problems again. I hope these are just really rare ones and I just got unlucky.
