Hi,
I just bought a G4 867 12" powerbook to replace my dead G3 iBook 800. It has airport. I'm not sure if it has airport, or airport extreme (still in the mail). Anyway, I want to connect an external antenna for my wifi. From what I've read, it has a connector for an antenna under the battery (at least from pics). What type of connector is this going to be? MC? MCX?

Thanks. Is that airport extreme only? There is no chance whatsoever of it having a normal airport card in it?

The models that take Airport only accept an Airport (The older Card) and models that accept Airport Extreme will only work with an Airport Extreme card. Sorry. You can sell off that Airport card for quite a lot of $$$. They are very sought after.

Thank you! I do have intentions of selling off the parts of my iBook (logic board is toast).
