I cannot find the air port icon on my MacBook Pro screen and I need it to install a portable signal booster

Mini (2014, 2018, 2020), MBA (2020), iPad Pro (2018), iPhone 13 Pro Max, Watch (S6)
Or System Preferences > Network > WiFI > make sure "Show Wi-Fi status in menu bar" is checked (if you just need the menulet).
