I'm not sure what happened but my web browsers continually pop up ads that slow and prevent me from doing anything online at a reasonable pace. I also can't doing any online purchases/transfers. Any quick fix to prevent a full re-install of Yosemite?

AdwareMedic to get rid of them, AdBlock+ and Ghostery to keep them from coming back.
