Hi All,
I'm having an ongoing problem that's driving me crazy. There must be a solution, but I have not been able to find it.
It started with my trying to troubleshoot why my proofs and printed projects through VistaPrint always had a weird distortion around the type. I thought it was them, but I discovered that when you open my files, for the most part, the distortion was either in the original file, or appeared once I uploaded the file.
Here is what I've tried, on both Mac and PC:
1. Save a multi-layerd file in Photoshop with a type layer as PDF, Tif, EPS or JPEG after and before flattening, and before and after rasterizing type.
2. Save an image imported into Illustrator with an outlined type layer as .AI, PDF or EPS .
I've tried all different settings, but in all honesty, I really don't know what most of the settings are for. In every case, once I open the files up or upload the and view an online proof, I'll see that wierd distortion around all of the type.
Has anyone experienced this or have any suggestions?
