Using Yosemite with latest update. Adobe Flash Player update will not install. Downloads 25 or 30%, then says that link broken

I just tried the US link by going into the Flash preference pane and it seems to have completed the install correctly. A couple of things occur to me:

1. Are you going directly to the Adobe site or using a link from a third party site such as Download.com?
2. Are you using any kind of "download helper" applications? if so, shut that off and try again.
3. Are you using anti virus software? If so, shut that off and try again.
4. What browser are you using? Have you tried others?

In this post my intent is not to hijack this thread...this question may help others, too.

What is difference between the NPAPI Plug-in and the PPAPI Plug-in seen in the screen shot above?

Composing this post showed me I had a Flash update! Glad I checked this out!!!
