When the rotator.juggler javascript fires off, the page stops loading while it waits for the javascript to draw the ad. Not a big deal, it's usually pretty instant.
But sometimes the rotator.juggler server chokes. So the forum page is blank while it waits to time out. See attached.
A fix is to place the ad in an iframe. So the forum page can load instantly even if the rotator.juggler is hung up. Even if it times out entirely, the forum page loads and renders just fine.
A simpler fix is to get rid of the javascript and just use the IMG tag instead.
I've seen this problem with phpMyAds also.
