IMac 27"
I have included below some of the details about my I Mac. I just purchased 8GB Ram from OWC (4GB + 4GB) and plan on installing on my computer. My question is that my computer currently has 4GB total (2GB + 2GB) and when I install the additional 8GB do I need to move that RAM from the current Banks.

OWC has a good video showing you how to remove the RAM and replace it but it doesn't mention keeping some of your existing RAM.

Any and all help will be appreciated.
