I just got a LaCie external 250GB HD, and I just want it to "blend" within my computer. I dont want it recognized as a seperate HD. Is it possible to just add the 250 GB to the original Mac HD in the computer?

In disk utilities, selecting "Free Space" as the volume? Will this do it?

it is not possible to combine to drive at this time. That function maybe come available in a later release of OS X.
