Thanks dbm, I can post links from a hosing site. The big thing for me is that all the hosting sites have the ability to use the images the way they see fit. My images are just that, mine. To keep any degree of contol over them , the only way to do that appears to be to host them on your own hard drive. Some people dont agree with the terms and conditions of the host sites, such as photo bucket, flicker, etc. I know its may be almost a strange concept these days, but I feel I deserve the right to control my images. Regardless of what the makers of the hardware/software feel. I had this level of control on a PC, holding the images on the/my hard drive. If I have to give this level of control to a host, be that an Apple sponsored site or another remote host that can change the rules as they see fit, then its all over rover. The images I'm reffering to are not offensive, pornographic or otherwise, but given the internet is international, there is a degree of sensitivity as to the nature of them. Although home distilling may be illegal in some countries, its quite legal in others. Geo tagging my images is not on, nor is marking them in some other way. My PC gave me that level of control, I'm sure my iMac can too, its just how. I guess this boils down to a question of why I need to give up privacy just to have a slick looking mac computer, V's a pc.
