Activity Monitor won't open...

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has seen or knows what to do with my problem. Activity Monitor won't open, I click on it it bounces up and down in the tray then disapears. I have no idea when this started or why? Thanks in advance....

Have you have made changes to your lately? You may need to run repair permissions (disk utility). Some times that will resolve the problem. Hopefully it will resolves yours.
