ac adaptor and apple care

Does anybody know if my fried power adptor is covered under apple care?Less than a year old and fried for no apparent reason.Humbug!!!Thanks in advance,Edmond

Take it to the genius bar, see what they say, and if they won't give you a new one, DEFINITELY don't buy another one at Apple. Too expensive. Buy one of the MacAlly ones, they're $30-$40 and they work just as well and arguably better than the original adapter.

I had one to burn up and carried it back to the genius bar and they swapped it out no questions ask. Granted I had only had my computer about a month at the time.
