Yes you can. It's sold with Windows and Apple versions of iTunes and the iPod software.
If you want to use it on both, MacOS X and Windows, make sure you set it up on Windows. MacOS X can read Windows and Mac formatted iPods, but Windows can't read a Mac formatted iPod.
