Looking at the difficulties IBM still has with the 90nm technology, this won't happen anytime soon...at soonest in 6 months, but I presume it'll be more like 1 year...

ahhhh ok... cause yea i might get a dual 2.5 but if the 3.0 is like coming out in like december or something i think it would be worth it to wait... will they be doing any other updates you think on the G5s by then?

That's difficult to predict... maybe a better graphics card, and a 16x Superdrive, but really, it's difficult to say...
