Message: <blockquote data-quote="lclev" data-source="post: 1853313" data-attributes="member: 307555">Well I have done a fresh install and it did not fix the issue.  I got a popup saying there was no keyboard or trackpad/mouse connected.  It takes either a few seconds to start working or the need to push and hold the power button to shutdown and restart happens.  Sometimes the pointer won't move initially for a few seconds then all is good.The apple tech did tell me I should always power my laptop off every time I am done to prevent the issue.  I told him I am not accepting that as I have never had this issue before with any of our other Mac laptops.  I will be calling Apple when I get to work tomorrow or Monday.  I am not sure if they are in on Sunday.  I want an expedited replacement.  We shall see...Lisa</blockquote>
