Well I did get through to Apple support. I now have a case number. The guy I was working with tried to start a remote diagnostics but with my slow internet that did not complete. I was a home and I did warn him! I am currently getting ready to wipe it and do a reinstall. If this works that means I get to manually reinstall all my apps as using CC will probably cause the issue again as it would be software related. I do have a Time Machine backup which I may use. I am also doing a backup of my files first. We shall see. The first 2020 I returned because I wanted the 32GB of memory and more storage had no issues at all. I did a very successful migration from my 2017 and it ran great but I only had it for a week or so. At least I have a case number with Apple. I am hoping this reinstall works. While I can live with the problem, as eventually the keyboard and trackpad will work, I do not know if it is hardware will it get worse. Will keep you updated. Lisa
