Hi I am new to this forum and plan on contributing anything I can I have two questions about the Macbook Pro I have.

1. Is it possible to take a screenshot on this computer without installing any additional applications if so how do you take a screenshot of what is on the screen and if you play a movie on this computer is it possible to take a screenshot from a playing movie?

2. I bought a carrying case and accidently falling in the case from about 2 feet high my bottom casing got damaged in the corner I have seen them online for about $230 dollars does anyone know where I can get a replacement bottom casing for cheaper? If so where?

To take a screen shot press the apple key, shift key and then the #3 key.

This will also take a screen shot of a movie if you are watching (still image of course).
