Sorry, I never meant to give the impression that a lack of sexual education is an excuse for teenage pregnancy and the like. I was describing my personal experiences with sex education as the topic came up.

I should have made it more clear, sorry.

Looks like it's not exactly a once in a blue moon occurrence either, a similar situation took place five years ago.

This is why parents need to take responsibility for the education of their children. Instead of getting all embarrassed about it, they should seriously take some responsibility and teach these kids something before they get themselves into trouble. Hoping that school will take care of it is a pipe dream in most places, especially the places that teach abstinence only. Sure, it sucks that they're having sex so young, but at least tell them about birth control so that they don't go ahead and do something like this.

This is why I have made the decisions I have regarding sex.

Though, I think abstinence only education is stupid. These kids are not old enough to be sexually active at all.

I am 21 and still not ready to have a kid, so no sex for me.

Is it really that hard?

Nope, it's really not. People need to think more with the head on their shoulders than the one in their pants (guys anyway).

I agree with you totally. But one example. Injecting oneself with illegal drugs isn't wrong as you say. But it's still damaging your health to the point of slowing killing you and putting undue burden on society as they have to put you through drug rehab or clean up your OD'd corpse off the floor.

My point, is yes it's a free world. But some actions benefit society and other actions go towards harming it. And having children and 13 and 15 are on the harming society side. So sure do what you want to do. Just do not complain if things are screwed up in the future. Cause you (the kids in the story and others) caused it all.

The child that fathered a baby has now joined Parent Rights Group - Fathers for Justice. When questioned he said "I already have a spider-man costume so it was an easy decision".

What a slapper she must be. 15 and slept with god knows how many. It's not like she's a stunner either. Jeeez, this stuff CHEEZES me off. I reckon it's a scam anyway, the so called "father" only looks about 10 or 11. DNA test him for age I say!
