Are there any 12" xbrite(well, just the technology anyways) LCD's that are compatible with the 12" ibook?

would anyone be interested in having this swap done to their ibook?

edit: is this even appropriate for the switcher's forum? I am a switcher afterall :p well, kinda... I went from linux(still available on the mac) to an ibook... and I like OSX so I'm keeping it ^_^

I was kind of wondering something along those lines myself...I wonder if there's some kind of "screen protector" available, but rather than being a screen protector it enhances the quality of the screen. I have an Ultrabrite (glossy) screen on my Windows laptop and love it to death; everything is so clear and bright. The only reason I'm considering a MacBook Pro is because the display is brighter; it's still a bummer that it's not glossy, but no biggie. If you find anything, let us know! :)

I'm personally not so keen on the glossy displays...
My friend has one and it's very hard to read under certain light conditions.
Mind you he mainly uses it for DJing in dark clubs, so there it's great.

Sony makes 12" laptops with x-brite, you could rip a display out of one of them I suppose and try to install it in the iBook, wouldn't be very easy though...
