I have a 12" Powerbook with the following specs: 867 MHZ G4, 12" monitor, Superdrive, 640MB of
RAM, 40GB Hard Drive. It also includes an airport extreme card. It comes loaded with all the regular software plus, Micros0ft Office X, Adobe PhotoShop 7.0 and Keynote ($850 of essential software).

I am looking to get $1485 for it.

ocastro considering at retail value that machine is close to 3000 with the software he has on it that is incredibly cheap. i would think he could get much more for it then he is offering but i have my 15" powerbook so its useless to me

I would think you'd have a hard time getting $1,485 out of it. I honestly would not consider that a cheap price for that laptop unless...you are including the original install discs for all the software you mentioned.

Otherwise, a brand new model with similar screen size (which has many advancements in terms of motherboard and memory and such) is only $100 more plus the airport card. In that scenario you can't really include the added software when comparing the prices because anyone can get ahold of pirated software so they would do just as good to get a new one and install the copied software...

However, if the software licenses and install discs are included, then yes, this is a pretty good deal. Any particular reason you are getting rid of it?
