hi i was wondering if theres any software that will convert a dvd or a video file to 1080p for mac osx.

DVDs can only be upscaled to 720p or 1080i. To watch movies in 1080p, you would need a high definition DVD, such as BluRay or HD DVD.

hi i have a ps3 and it dont upscale dvd's yet but it playes mpg type films
i have a program for windows that upscales videos to 1080p but i have 2 load parallels ect and it takes a long time to convert a dvd and the fan is on the max which gets quite annoying

i have a macbook 2ghz core duo with 2gb ram
